Kore McKelvey
Throughout her performance, Kore McKelvey’s goal in sharing both poetry and music is to empower the audience to look into themselves, harness the power of the seasons, and connect to who they truly are. We are all different. We all walk different paths, but this world has a way of challenging each and every one of us. These challenges oftentimes traumatize us and keep us from seeing the bigger picture. Sometimes we need a reminder of how strong we really are, and how it is okay to put our burdens down, to rid ourselves of our root rot, and to continue to grow.
Bio - Kore McKelvey is the author of Letters From Elysium, an up-and-coming poet. Her poetry centers around witchcraft, trauma, and redemption, oftentimes using myth as a conduit for telling honest stories of love, loss, and recovery. She has been featured in anthologies including "Ghost, Shadows, and Echoes: A Horror Anthology" and "Ohio Bards Anthology 2024.”
