Through Our Eyes: Youth Prevention & Advocacy Photo Project

​The Appalachian Children Coalition (ACC), in partnership with Athens Photographic Project (APP), presents Through Our Eyes, a compelling multimedia exhibit created with and by youth from Appalachian Ohio. This exhibit showcases original photography, writing, and audio recordings that reflect the lived experiences, challenges, and resilience of youth impacted by mental health and substance use concerns. The exhibit is the culmination of a 5-month pilot project supported by ACC’s prevention programming and rooted in its mission to promote youth mental wellness through creative, community-based approaches.
